Cambly is a rapidly growing startup that aims to make English language learning more efficient, enjoyable, and accessible. We are currently seeking an Art Director who is passionate about design. As the Art Director, you will play a key role in leading Cambly's visual communication efforts in Turkey and Europe.
IMPORTANT: Strong English communication skills are essential for this role. You will be required to communicate in English on a daily basis. Please apply only if you believe you are fluent in English.
What will you do?
- Control the overall design style and visual image of the company, improving visual tonality, and differentiating our designs from those of our competitors.

Generate concepts based on creative briefs.- Prepare and present campaign concepts alongside the design team.
- Create recurring digital design assets such as weekly marketing emails, digital ads, social media posts, and web experiences.
- Independently complete graphic design projects required for online and offline promotional activities, including but not limited to posters, mail banners, social media content, paid ads, etc.
- Take responsibility for the visual aspects of campaigns across all touchpoints.
- Actively seek creative opportunities.
- Stay updated on the local and international advertising scene and design trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the brand's creative needs are met.
- Mentor and develop junior designers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Art Director in an advertising agency or company.
- Outstanding portfolio (including any awards you may have received).
- Strong conceptual thinking and craftsmanship skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working on content or campaigns in the field of advertising.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in internet and mobile UI design, proficient in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Axure, Figma, and other design tools, with the ability to independently complete the entire design process.
- Excellent English communication skills.
