Customer Success Manager [Germany]

We are now looking for a Customer Success Manager who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

In this role you will be engaging with customers of different shapes and sizes across Europe, with the goal of enabling them to manage and trade their energy portfolios using Volue’s software solutions. In order to achieve this, you will be working closely with a diverse and international team, not only within Customer Success, but also different areas within Volue (Product, Sales, Development, etc.)

What you will be doing to make a difference:

  • Proactively engaging with customers in a wide variety of roles, from traders to developers and PMs, with the goal of understanding their requirements around our products and to offer additional services
  • Offering consulting and specialized training to enable the customer to maximize the value derived from our products
  • Maintaining an active communication channel with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product/Sales/Development)
  • Supporting the team in other Customer Success-related tasks (e.g. onboarding, webinars, etc.) and help us constantly improve our internal workflow

What you need to succeed:


  • A degree in engineering, business, economics or similar
  • Proven energy industry expertise, relevant trading / investments background or previous experience in consultancy, CS or Product Management role
  • High level of organizational skills and business pragmatism, ideally with a very customer- or sales-oriented working style
  • You are a team player with a growth mindset
  • Strong analytical reasoning (any experience with data or statistical analysis would be considered an asset)
  • Solid business sense and a natural willingness to constantly optimize existing services and processes.
  • Fluency in English as well as German language

The position reports to the Team Lead of Customer Success and cooperates closely with different Sales and Product teams. We are looking to hire for Volue office in Munich, but will be ready to consider other locations for the right candidate.
