Stores Person
We’re looking for a smart organised individual with the right attitude to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. You must be personable, customer-friendly and have the ability to work on your own initiative with good attention to detail.
Based on the Naas Road, Dublin 12, and working as a committed team member you will support our delivery and sales team to ensure goods arrive on-time every time to our wonderful customer base.
A little about us: DBC Group is an Irish company founded in 1982 providing a range of Identity, packaging and print finishing products to the print, corporate and B2B markets.
***Please note this is a full-time position***
Responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and booking deliveries and checking against supplier orders.
- Prepare orders efficiently, effectively and promptly.
- Organise deliveries to go out with the correct/relevant courier service supplier.
- Monitor stock quantities and advise supervisor on re-order levels.
- Identify and resolve delivery issues.
- Count and record stock items for stocktake.
- Prepare demonstration equipment for the sales team.
- Maintaining warehouse and showroom, keeping it well organised and clean.
- Support Delivery, Sales Team and other Depts as requested.
- Keep up to date with new products and ranges and show aptitude to learn technologies in line with the same.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience is helpful but not necessary
- Ability to take instruction but also to work on own initiative
- Manual Handling Cert and Forklift License an advantage, but not nesessary
- Attention to detail is a must
- Driving Licence and advantage but not necessary
- Have a "can-do" attitude
Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 to 17:00
